The wimpy Shinigami is hilarious to me, but this the start of the major issues for me. It's been FIVE YEARS...and he just reported his notebook being gone to the king?! Ryuk having two notebooks needed to be addressed at some point, but this is a hard sell; I don't buy it. What is the likelihood that he never so much as thought of his notebook for five whole years?
